We are extremely proud to announce that Tania Charron, Executive Director of Ricochet (Hébergement/Homes), has been awarded the King Charles III's Coronation Medal — an honorary distinction that recognizes her outstanding contribution to our community and, by extension, to Canada as a whole.

This commemorative medal, administered by the Chancellery of Honours at Rideau Hall, was created to mark the coronation of His Majesty King Charles III as King of Canada. It is awarded to individuals who have made a significant contribution to their community, their province, or the country as a whole.
A Well-Deserved Honour
For nearly twenty years, Tania Charron has worked with passion, courage, and determination to improve the living conditions of people experiencing homelessness and severe hardship in the West Island. Through her leadership, she has made Ricochet a key player in the local social safety net, always putting forward dignity, active listening and inclusion.
Receiving this medal is far more than a symbolic gesture — it is an official recognition of the essential role Tania plays in driving social change at the local and regional levels. Her work inspires not only our team, but also the broader community sector and all those committed to social justice.
Thank You and Congratulations, Tania!
The entire Ricochet team celebrates this distinction with immense pride. Thank you, Tania, for your unwavering dedication, your open heart, and your courageous vision. You embody the core values of our organization, and this medal is further proof that your impact reaches far beyond our own territory.
