PRISM
Homelessness and Mental Health Re-Affiliation Program (PRISM)
PRISM is a transitional housing program designed for individuals experiencing homelessness who are also living with mental health challenges. Offered by Ricochet, in partnership with the CIUSSS de l’Ouest-de-l’Île-de-Montréal and Makivvik, the program provides a stable environment that supports stabilization, access to active mental health care and guidance toward long-term housing.
Beneficiaries may stay in the program for up to four months, depending on their needs and personal situation.

Why PRISM?
In the West Island, homelessness is sometimes invisible, yet very real. A significant portion of the individuals supported at Ricochet also experience mental health challenges. PRISM responds to this need by offering:
-
a structured clinical framework;
-
on-site access to care;
-
an integrated, human and culturally informed approach.
The program serves as a crucial bridge between homelessness, specialized mental health services and long-term residential stability.
