Charron named Executive Director of AJOI

Now that former AJOI (Action Jeunesse de L’Ouest de L’ile) Executive Director Benoit Langevin will be serving his constituents as city councilor for the Pierrefonds-Roxboro riding of Bois-de-Liesse, his replacement is none other than interim director Tania Charron who will be helped by the entire staff as well as new Assistant Executive Director Andrée Levesque.

Charron has worked at AJOI for the last seven years and has been hard at work on the AJOIH housing project and has formerly worked as an Outreach Street Worker, Development Agent and President of the Board. Levesque has been with the non-profit agency for the last six years, focusing her efforts on helping vulnerable West Island youth.
